“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Psalms 34:1 KJV I would like to ask you a question. I ask this of myself as well. When was the last time, you took time, to bless the Lord? Not asking for anything but just taking an opportunity to bless Him, thanking Him, adoring Him! Often we are asking God for His blessings on our lives and the lives of others. Asking for something in prayer. That’s a good thing! He wants us to come to Him asking. In today’s Scripture David said he was going to bless the Lord at all times and that his praise would flow forth from his mouth continually. Did you see that? ALL TIMES and CONTINUALLY. If it’s at ALL TIMES and it’s CONTINUALLY, then there is no time left for words that do not bless or praise. This is an area where we need mind renewal. Thinking differently. Ministering on to the Lord should be a vital part of our relationship with our good God! Do you think it’s possible that we could bless Him or praise Him too much? Of course not! So go to Him not asking Him for anything but simply blessing Him and praising Him. Telling Him how much you love him and to bless Him. Thanking Him for all that He has done, is doing and will do in the future. “I bless GOD every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise.” Psalm 34:1 MSG
